How to Choose an AI Keynote Speaker
A practical checklist for organizers: start from the outcome you need, not the most famous name.

Start with the outcome
Decide what the audience should think, feel or do afterwards. A leadership retreat exploring strategy needs a different speaker than an all-hands meeting reassuring employees about change.
Separate influence from fit
Scientific influence, public recognition and suitability for a corporate stage are different qualities. A landmark researcher may prefer academic settings; a skilled communicator may translate ideas better for a non-specialist audience.
Look for evidence of speaking
Review recorded talks, published writing and past formats. Check that the speaker's expertise matches your topic precisely — “AI” covers research, ethics, business, policy and more.
Match the format
Keynote, fireside conversation, panel, workshop or executive briefing: each demands different strengths. Confirm the language, duration and level of interaction you need.
Prepare a clear brief
Share audience profile, size, prior knowledge, key questions and constraints early. A good brief is the single biggest factor in a relevant talk.
